Either way, you’ve come to the right place because today I’m sharing one of my favorite Boston graduation photoshoots from this year!

Janice reached out to me for graduation photos for her and her partner, Fidel, who would both be graduating from the Boston College Law School. It’s always extra special to capture grad photos for couples, so I was so excited to photograph these two! We spent a beautiful evening reminiscing on the most meaningful spots in the city for these two to give them photos to look back on when they leave Boston following graduation. Keep reading to see some of my favorite locations for Boston College grads to take their Boston graduation photos!

Location Number One: Graduation Photos at the Boston College Law School

Location, Location, Location! Location is so important when it comes to a photoshoot, and in this case, we found the perfect Boston backdrops for Janice and Fidel’s Boston graduation photos to celebrate their time at the Boston College Law School.

A school like Boston College is a graduation photographer’s dream; the campus is so picturesque! We started at the law school campus in Newton, MA, filled with gorgeous tulips and the cutest little red door. This is where Janice and Fidel spent most of their time studying, so it was definitely fitting to grab some spots near the academic buildings they spent hours in!

We made sure Janice had her time to shine solo, but also captured so many fun couples photos. One of my favorite poses for couples graduation photos is having them kiss behind their cap!

Location Number Two: Graduation Photos at Boston College

Though these two were technically graduating from the Law School, the main Boston College campus has such stunning architecture that we had to head over there next. It was super easy to catch the shuttle from the Law School to the main campus, and I loved hearing about how much Janice and Fidel loved their time in the city on the ride over.

I’m always in awe when I come to Boston College for graduation photos; the architecture here is simply stunning. We honestly had such a hard time deciding where to stop for photos because everywhere we turned featured a photogenic option. These gorgeous buildings we chose made the perfect backdrop for Janice’s champagne pop (and it was a good one–look at that spray)!

Location Number Three: Graduation Photos at Boston Public Garden

In my opinion, Boston graduation photos aren’t complete without a stop at the Boston Public Garden. Not only is this one of the best photoshoot locations in Boston, but it’s also special to Janice and Fidel because it’s where they had their first date. We even grabbed some photos of the two of them on the exact bench where they sat on that date and drank coffee together… my heart literally could not take it because they are too cute!! It was so special to have the chance to return to a place that’s so important to them as they wrapped up their time in the city.

These two law school graduates are not only so in love but also SO accomplished, and it was such a joy to capture their Boston College graduation photos! We honestly spent the whole session laughing—I love how my job is just hanging out with the coolest people and taking their photos. It’s so fun reminiscing on this year’s Boston graduation photoshoots and I can’t wait to take even more Boston College graduation photos next year!
